Fun Facts
I played soccer for TWELVE years straight growing up. I chose to stay at Arizona State University and take on a teaching job instead of playing in the 2018 U20 Men's Olympics. I am a middle child among the 6 boys that my parents had.
About Me
I go to Arizona State University still, and I plan on staying in college until I am 30 (12 years, 3 degrees). I LOVE learning even though I hated school before college. I spent 2 years researching how to learn just to succeed in college and it turns out that I enjoy it more after being better at it. I currently own and operate 2 businesses, one in the events and entertainment industry(providing event services, planning, and management) and the other in a marketing company that specializes in digital asset growth.
Experience
I have been teaching for the past couple of years at Phoenix International Academy. I was also a volunteer tutor at ASU and still help coach and tutor friends and family when I can. I also tutor children at the school I work at in my free time to help them pass their classes. I love teaching and have spent a lot of time learning teaching methods, children's development, and learning methods to help aid this skill. I excel in healthy habit methods and study/learning methods.
Approach
As a child, I grew up with ADHD and as I was never exactly struggling as far as my grades, no one suspected. I did not know what this was or that it existed until I got diagnosed at age 19. I had to learn numerous adaptive learning methods that I could use to succeed throughout schooling as a child and as an adult in college. Through my experience of teaching and doing 1 on 1 coaching at a reputable academy I have learned how to determine the best adaptive learning techniques for each student.
