About Me

I am currently in my last semester of medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have a degree in applied math from the University of Michigan. I can tutor K-12 math and science, college math, biology, and physical chemistry, and help with test prep for ACT, SAT, MCAT, and USMLE Step1-2.

Experience

I started tutoring my younger sister when I was still in elementary school. She taught me patience and the ability to see the world through the perspective of someone struggling with a topic or class. Since I have tutored many kids in middle school and high school and helped my peers with standardized tests.

Approach

I believe that a good tutor teaches their student how to learn and how to go about understanding the material they are struggling with. This is different for every person and requires an individualized approach. I love getting people who struggled with a subject excited about it and excited to show off their new skills.
