I bowled in high school and on scholarship in college. I was also president of the ISI club at my college. I am the first person in my family to graduate college. I enjoy reading and watching reality TV

About Me

I am a first-year teacher at Russell Christian Academy. I currently teach World and American History, as well as Government and Economics. I have a bachelors in Secondary Education. I absolutely adore kids of all ages.

Experience

I currently teach 10th-12th grade History, Government, and Economics. I student taught American History to 7th graders during my spring semester of 2022. I spent time in high school and college tutoring elementary children. I have also worked at a daycare.

Approach

I hated history growing up. I could not think of anything more boring than old stories that I could not believe happened. When I started my freshman year of college, I was met with my favorite teacher and soon-to-be mentor. He just so happened to teach history. He taught me how to comprehend the things he was teaching. I fell in love with a history almost instantly once I realized how the world and country became what is it now.
