I am a mother of two amazing little girls. They are five and almost 7. My family and I live in Commack. I love to help others excel and achieve their goals. I am devoted, hard-working, adaptable, and extremely creative when it comes to explaining difficult concepts.

About Me

I graduated in May 2022 from Long Island University Post with a bachelor's in Actuarial Science and a minor in Business and Mathematics. I am well-spoken and well-written. I am currently a full-time employed contract billing specialist for API in Melville. I am looking for something part-time and I would love to make a difference in the lives of others who need some extra assistance to excel and achieve their short and long-term goals.

Experience

I have not had the chance to be an 'official' tutor. Over the past few years, I have worked with friends and family members to help them achieve their academic goals. I get along with everyone and I take pride in everything I do. I have had to think of some interesting ways to explain Math concepts so that the client can feel confident and capable. Approach

As a child, my family moved a lot and I did not have many friends or a very pleasant schooling experience. I did the bare minimum and hated going to a classroom where I felt like an out-caste and unwanted. I don't think any child should be scared to speak up and ask for help or not want to go to school because they don't understand and they require a little extra assistance in fully understanding key concepts. My younger daughter is in Kindergarten and has an IEP for anxiety and behavioral issue
