Fun Facts
My 3 biggest passions (besides math) are music, nature/wildlife, and aeronautics. If I could, I would spend all of my free time attending concerts, hiking and camping, visiting zoos and parks, and flying to every such event/location around the world.
About Me
I am a recent MS graduate from the University of Florida in Gainesville. I moved to the South after living most of my life in the Northeast, plus a year abroad between high school and college. I'm relatively new to Atlanta, but I love it so far and plan to stick around for a while to see what the future holds.
Experience
I've tutored math privately on the side since I graduated high school myself. I've tutored math (with tangible results!) at every level K-12 and even some colleges, but I would say that middle/high school math is my specialty.
Approach
Math is a unique subject in that it's not about what you know, it's about the application. I wasn't always the most academically inclined student growing up, but for whatever reason, math always came easy to me. I would often be the one fellow students came to for help and I found it personally fulfilling to see them succeed because of me. I didn't have a better knowledge base than anyone else in the class, I was just naturally quicker at understanding how and where different processes applied.
