I am Puerto Rican, the youngest of six siblings, and am currently learning Italian.

About Me

I am a Junior at Arizona Christian University studying to become an Elementary Teacher. I am hardworking and have had the opportunity to work and observe in various classroom settings with different grade levels. I love to help students succeed and enjoy seeing them feel proud of discovering how much they can achieve.

Experience

I have worked with students one-on-one and in small groups in classroom and Sunday school settings. I have helped students learn how to read, understand mathematical concepts, and memorize bible verses.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with school. I often got distracted, would want to give up when tasks seemed impossible and would get frustrated, leading to me not enjoying school. However, through the years, I have learned how to be disciplined, patient, and apply practical study skills to my everyday learning. As a tutor, I want to be able to help students do the same and learn how to enjoy school at a young age.
