About Me

I am a first-year student at SUNY college of optometry. I am originally from California but my love for New York and optometry brought me to the east coast. When not studying for classes I enjoy teaching and tutoring kids of all ages, predominantly in courses involving science, math, or psychology!

Experience

I have experience teaching as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for 2 years. I had the opportunity to provide ABA therapy to children ages 2-19 at home, at school, and in a clinical setting.

Approach

I have always been an individual who benefits from one on one learning rather than learning in a large classroom setting. This led me to seek tutoring in high school, college, and graduate school. Tutoring made a huge difference in my math and science scores and is the reason why I am in graduate school today. A determining factor on whether one does well in a course is finding out methods that work for you and the course you are taking.
