About Me

I finish my PhD in evolutionary biology at Arizona State this semester and really enjoy teaching, especially biology at all levels.

Experience

I have worked in cancer biology for over a decade with extensive training in biology, chemistry, genetics, and science/arizona/phoenix">computer science. I have taught biology courses at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels.

Approach

So much of what we learn in high school and college quickly becomes tedious and it is easy to get lost in the details. Understanding the big picture of why you are learning what you are in a specific top is essential to both making the most of your education as well as exceeding in that topic. I have a broad range of experience in biology, chemistry, and science/arizona/phoenix">computer science and I bring a down-to-earth teaching style to help my students master topics.
