About Me

I am currently doing my Master in Data Science at Columbia University. I have a bachelors in both science/new-york/new-york">Computer Science and Statistics from Florida International University (FIU). At FIU I made the Dean's List every semester.

Experience

As part of Girls Who Code and CS First, I had the experience of tutoring young children weekly on programming concepts. Similarly, while I worked for the Center for Academic Success at FIU I tutored college students on subjects ranging from basic math, complicated calculus, statistics, and even coding.

Approach

With my broad experience tutoring, I understand that different personalities, backgrounds, and ages will change the way you should tutor a student. It is my hope by relating difficult concepts to simpler ones that they already understand, I will be able to make my students enjoy math and science/new-york/new-york">computer science.
