When I’m not working with my students or spending time with my family, I love to engage in all kinds of arts and crafts and spend time outdoors. I also love listening to and learning to play music.

About Me

Hi! I am an experienced teacher and math tutor. I truly love working with students in a one-to-one setting. I am a licensed, certified teacher and have been tutoring for 9 years. I tutor all elementary and middle school grades and am available for in-person and virtual sessions.

Experience

I have years of live, in-classroom teaching experience as well as 9 years of private tutoring experience. I can tutor live as well as virtually.

Approach

As a tutor, I believe that consistency is important between in-school teaching and outside-school tutoring. For this reason, I communicate weekly with your child’s teacher regarding their classroom curriculum and create weekly packets to review all topics covered in math that week. This creates consistency and helps me to hone in and focus on topics where my child needs particular help.
