About Me

I am a junior at Brigham Young University studying History. My current research focuses on the pacifist movement in Wales around the First World War. I love teaching what I know and pride myself on making complex subjects simple!

Experience

I spent just under a year and a half living in São Paulo Brasil teaching English, especially to those who came from lower-income homes. I learned how to teach to all levels of understanding and I have developed a skill set that gives me a particular advantage when teaching those who don't learn well in a traditional classroom.

Approach

I was diagnosed with ADD during my sophomore year of High School and quickly realized that despite the fact that the traditional classroom setting is not a good learning environment for many students, good grades can have a huge impact on future opportunities. I want to help people who struggle with certain subjects or situations to achieve their academic goals and ensure that they have every opportunity to accomplish their goals.
