Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I am experienced in reading various types of content: fiction, nonfiction, business financial statements, new articles, etc. I will use this experience to teach students how to develop critical thinking, teaching them to understand not only the point of a written piece, but also the motivations behind it, and biases that may be baked into the work.

Study Skills Tutoring

As a freshman in college, I didn't already have strong study habits leaving high school, which impacted my academic success early on. Knowing the importance now, I am a proponent of teaching these skills to scholars so they have the tools to succeed without repeating my mistakes.
