Fun Facts

I am very passionate about space and astronomy. In my spare time I take my telescope outside and enjoy observing the planets and stars in our galaxy.

I also play Spanish guitar.

My favorite sport is paragliding and sky diving.

About Me

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at Santa Clara University. I am have a Bachelors and Master's of science in Computer Engineering and I am currently majoring in Robotics, Mechatronics and Control in the Electrical Engineering Department.
My career goal is Space Robotics (application of robotics in space exploration).

I have more than 4 years of work experience as a Teaching assistant. Since the first year of my Master's program I have been working as a Teaching Assistant and I have taught several undergraduate engineering courses in the field of computer and electrical engineering.

I love teaching and I always encourage my students to ask me questions.

When I was in middle school I was always shy to ask questions. Because whenever I asked for help, I was treated in a way that I felt ashamed for not being able to understand the subject.

That thought me a good lesson. Now I know how to teach my students and how to encourage them to ask questions without being shy.

Usually my undergrad students come to me rather than going to their professors when they have questions. They say they feel more comfortable with me and that helps them to learn much faster.
