Fun Facts

Enjoy running, hiking, and gardening - I've recently started training for a marathon. In addition, my wife and I like to travel. In the last few years we have visited Italy, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, and Ireland.

About Me

I am from the area and have moved back to be with family.
I went to school in Georgia (BBA & MBA) and also graduated from UT Dallas with a BA. I enjoy tutoring especially Accounting and Finance but also early high school math - fractions, number properties, exponents, pre-algebra, geometry and stats.

Experience

I was an independent tutor while at Mercer University specializing in accounting and finance. Education is important to me and enjoy teaching where possible. I have three degrees and several minors.

Approach

I like to cover the basics and create a solid foundation through repetition.
I try to make math approachable and practical rather than rigid and academic. I try to show efficient and practical ways to solve problems. My approach draws from real world examples from my position as a Director of Purchasing.
