Fun Facts
I love anything basketball: coaching, playing and watching. I started playing basketball since the second grade and my love for the game began there. I love kids, though they may be crazy and difficult at times, I have a 'gift' (as people tell me) to be patient and love who they are. I love the beach, but I chose not to learn how to surf because of the uncertainty of what's beneath me or not.
About Me
I am a senior at Santa Clara University, majoring in English. I am graduating early in the Winter Quarter and hope from here I can find a job relating to my passion for kids. In high school I was awarded the Principal's Honor Roll, Scholar Athlete and California Scholarship Federation.
I have tutored multiple students across all levels through home one-on-one tutoring, summer camps, and after school programs . Tutoring different age groups allowed me to understand the different levels of study and teaching that I had to bring about with the wide range of students. And with this knowledge I bring to Frog Tutoring, I can impact and help even more students of all age groups.
I believe teaching and educating children is very important. Children are our futures. They need to be prepared and well educated in order to succeed in our world of increasingly high demands. I myself struggled through middle school and needed tutors to help guide me and teach me. From this experience I gained the knowledge to be a great tutor one needs to listen, build confidence, ask questions and help guide the student to great learning and study skills. My main goals are to enhance the student's learning and maximize motivation.
