About Me

I am currently a student at Rice University. I grew up in the Bay Area, California where I attended The Nueva School. After graduating, I plan to go to grad school and eventually hope to work in the healthcare industry, either as a physician or in biotech.

Experience

As a teaching assistant for Peninsula Bridge (an after-school enrichment program for underserved students) throughout high school, I've tutored elementary and middle school student in math and English. I have also helped students with homework 1-on-1 and continued voluntary private tutoring through the summer.

Approach

During high school I had a teacher who was phenomenal at explaining various chemistry concepts. He was kind enough to meet me once a week to go over any questions I had about the class and content that was covered. I found that having this extra support was incredibly helpful academically, and I hope to be able to provide something similar to students in need.
