Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is I've been making art for as long as I can remember. I currently use this talent to work on making children's books. I also love to travel and have one dog named Elvis.

About Me

I am currently a student at Paradise Valley Community College as well as part of our Honors Advisory Council. I love to plan and organize group events with lots of engagement and learning. I also sell and retail my art as a way of sharing my passion with the world.

Experience

I have been in classroom settings for a very long time. I was a teaching assistant for middle school and high school. I also worked at an after-school program for over a year. As previously mentioned, I am also part of my school's Honors Advisory Council and often help many college students daily.

Approach

One night, at a family gathering, one of my younger cousins was telling me about her math homework. At the time I showed her a math trick and I thought nothing of it. However, when she practiced and understood the math trick, she was ecstatic and proud of what she learned. I will never forget her smile of accomplishment. I knew from that moment on, that teaching and helping students to guide their growth is what I want to do.
