I love gardening and cooking. I find it rewarding to watch things grow that I can use in the kitchen as I explore the recipes of different cuisines worldwide.
I also spent 15 years as a professional soccer coach with a state championship and several state tournament appearances.

I am an educator with 17 years of experience in the classroom teaching education/oklahoma/oklahoma-city">Special Education, English, Journalism, and Creative Writing.

Experience

I have worked with 7th through 12th grade students in all ELA classes including; English, Journalism, Creative Writing, and Yearbook Development.

Approach

As an educator, I believe remaining honest and positive with students is important. Getting to know my students and how they best learn is key to creating a successful, safe, and rewarding learning environment.
