I have been a preschool teacher, and preschool administrator and taught kindergarten and 2nd grade. I am new to Texas and love meeting new people.
Experience
I have tutored many children in my teaching career, especially when I was the administrator of an after-school program. I have tutored ESL children and even taught children in China!
Approach
When my children were in school, they both struggled. I was eager to help them but a tutor was necessary. I watched the tutor work with my children and use patience, fun, and various ways of making the learning stick. I use the skills she used as well as ones that I came up with to help make learning fun and the material easier to remember
