Hey guys! I'm an almost second-year ADN-RN having gained experience specifically in Acute Care, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, and Hospice. A few random illnesses I’ve cared for: the most brittle diabetic I’ve never heard of! Cornelia DeLange Syndrome, Vascular Dementia, and Schizophrenia. Craziest Nursing Story: I once had to send a patient to the ER post-fall and they had to be Narcanned! FYI- I didn’t administer any opioids! I also hold a Masters's Degree in Biomedical Science! Learning really DOESN’T have to be boring!!! I used a plethora of study tools as a change-up to keep my focus and provide stimulating ways of true learning by association, rather than memorization. My favorite way to study while in Nursing School was using Notecards, but not in the same way you’re probably thinking. After each Lecture, I wrote down the key information on a notecard in a specific color, changing colors when topics changed. A great way to hit the high points continuously! My best
