Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I am going to Germany to study psychology this summer!

About Me

I am currently a senior psychology major at Texas A&M University. I plan on going into the education field and teaching as soon as I can after graduation, and plan on teaching until I am done with graduate school! I currently work as a tutor for the CSISD AVID program but am wanting to work more hours. I love helping people learn and have studied a lot about the different styles of learning so I am confident I can help whoever I can work with.

Experience

In high school, I was the Historian for the Chemistry Club and Vice President for the Soil Society (gardening club). I graduated in the top 15% with a top score of 1410 on my SATs. I got consistent scores on my AP tests and earned enough credit to be able to graduate a semester early if I had wanted to.

Approach

I know that kids who don't do well in school are often misunderstood or their learning needs are not being catered to. I know that when working one on one with a student, I will be able to help them learn in the way that best suits them.
