I love nature and a good book! I have an amazing rock collection and I enjoy helping learners in the process of achieving their academic goals.

About Me

I am a long-time educator who enjoys meeting new people and bringing joy to learning. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 15 years. I also enjoy doing research about how to improve learning for young people and adults.

Experience

I have taught learners from preschool to college and I enjoyed every bit! I have also found joy in supporting parents to understand 21st-century teaching and learning. I engaged in a research project where I designed a 7-week family literacy program for parents and their children.

Approach

I use multiple approaches to support learners to accomplish their goals. The first step I take is to build a positive relationship with every learner and support them to define, plan, and achieve their learning goals. Every step is a mini success and we count them along the way!
