My Bachelor degree in English, and Masters degree in Counseling; has allowed me to work over twenty years as an English Instructor, and English Tutor in the Alabama Community College System. This includes my excellent communication skills. Twenty years of experience as a Counselor, has given me the knowledge to implement my Study Skills program to different learning styles.

I taught English for twenty plus years. The key points to good writing skills includes, but not limited to the following:

Correct grammar, sentence structure, parts of speech, effective punctuation, and spelling.

Preparation for GED, SAT, and ACT Writing Skills and examples of test questions.

AP English Tutoring

My English degree includes teaching, writing, and speaking English.. Tutoring basic grammar and basic writing if needed..Becoming familiar with each student learning style, enables me to build a rapport with students.

SAT Verbal/Writing Tutoring

I have over fifteen years of SAT and ACT Test Preparation and administration of the tests. I assess the skill level of each student to determine what Is needed..

Writing Advance Tutoring

While in undergraduate English classes, I completed these courses :
Advance writing, Advanced Literature, Advanced English, Speech Communication.
All of these courses, as well as the teacher’s lesson plans, helps the students to learn during each session.
