Fun Facts
I have always been very interested in historical buildings. The urban exploration videos of old abandoned homes are fascinating and creatively stimulating to me. Watching how nature can overtake what we build is nature's art at work!
About Me
I have earned two BFA’s, one in Fine Art Painting and the other in Animation.
Oil painting, watercolor, and charcoal are my focus in my fine artwork. I love getting lost in the brainstorming phase and the drafting process.
Within animation, I am interested in the design aspect of the animation pipeline, and visual development. Visual development includes character design, backgrounds, and props. I am familiar with frame-by-frame animation but I am currently working to educate myself in 2D puppet animation.
I have online portfolios for each art focus.

Experience
In my past experience as a private art tutor, I helped students discover their desired artistic outcomes. What did they want art to do for them and how did we achieve it?
I have also made two student-animated films. One was created with several others students while the other was my graduate thesis film. If interested I can provide links to both.
Approach
Everyone has a different experience of what art is and there is always more than one answer. I guide students in methods to achieve the goals they have set for themselves with patience and understanding. Art is a personal journey that I am privileged to be a part of.
