I am super passionate about martial arts! I have been a martial artist for 12 years and have been coaching for 8 years. Any time I can I make sure to practice what I learned!

About Me

I am a psychology major at The University of Texas at Arlington, I am in my senior year and expect to graduate in December 2023. I am also planning on pursuing my Masters's degree at The University of Texas at Arlington as well. Currently, I am a member of both the Golden Key International Honor Society and The International Society in Psychology.

Experience

Over the last 7 years, I have had the opportunity to tutor students in multiple areas including AVID, STAAR tests, and a variety of core subjects ranging from elementary math and reading to college-level psychology courses and statistics.

Approach

As a coach and tutor, I've had the opportunity to work with students in multiple settings, and I've learned that we all learn differently. I try to be as adaptive as possible taking the student's problem areas and focusing on finding ways to make information easier to understand through different exercises that focus on different learning styles such as auditory, visual, or tactile learning styles.
