About Me

I am a education/california/fresno">Special Education Teacher- completing my Credential and preparing to return to school to complete my Administration Credential.
I have traveled to 7 different countries and have a passion for history, culture, language, and art. I plan to continue to travel- especially to the Philippines, where I want to pursue family history and meet family there!

Experience

I have been working in classrooms since 2007. I have seen a wide range of needs and programs that are both effective and ineffective. I also have a nephew with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) that is now diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. These combined, are my "WHY".

Approach

I continue to strive to work with students and school communities to help build programs that are effective and beneficial for all students with various learning needs. I also had learning needs as a child where there were limited resources and education provided to families, students, and staff. Now, there is so much to offer, I want to ensure that all students, families, and staff members are provided with the best resources and education to advocate for one another.
