About Me
I am an Online Art, ESL, Reading & English Teacher of 5 1/2 years. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Education, a Master's in Religion with a concentration in Biblical Studies, and a Post Master's in College Teaching. I enjoy working with all ages but my niche is with children. I have a background in Early Childhood Education and a 120 Hour TESOL Certification to teach ESL Learners ages 6 to Adult.
Experience
I currently teach Online Reading & Writing courses to students ages 6 to 13. I have taught Reading, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Phonics, and Proper Sentence structure to students in the U.S., China, Japan, and Taiwan ages 6 to Adult. I acquired a certificate in the Fundamentals of Art at Art Instruction Schools. I love art and drawing. I am a self-taught artist and love drawing cartoon characters and animals.
Approach
As a child, I struggled with Reading comprehension and had to attend a reading lab which nurtured and helped me to understand the materials I was reading. This extra tutoring helped me to succeed in my studies throughout the school. I have a love for helping others pursue their academic endeavors in English and Reading as well. I believe learning should be student-centered, fun, and engaging so that students will be inspired to enjoy and love learning.

I have experience teaching this subject at church as a Sunday School teacher of over 20 years and in at Christian Scholars STEM Academy as a Mixed 1st & 2nd Grade Teacher.

I have a 120 hour TESOL Certification from International Open Academy. I have taught as an Online ESL Teacher for 5 1/2 years to students in China, Japan, Taiwain and here in the United States of America.
