Fun Facts
I am the Seventh born in my family. My dad was the seventh born in his family and my mom too was the seventh born. So, we call each other sevens. Also, another fun fact is that I was the international student ambassador and at Bowling Green State University where I did my masters in scientific computation and Applied Mathematics.
About Me
I have tutored at various centers like the Grade power learning center and Mathnasium. I have a certificate for being a peer mathematics educator where I used to train graduate students on effective ways of teaching mathematics at the college level. I have two master's degree in applied mathematics and Scientific Computation.
Experience
I have ten years of teaching experience. I taught high school math for three years then later taught college algebra, Pre-Calculus, Ordinary and Partial differential Equation for four years at University of Nairobi and later became a graduate assistant where I have taught Linear Algebra, Calculus and Vector Analysis for two years at Bowling Green State University, Ohio. Then I have tutored at Collins college and Mathnasium at Mckinney.
Approach
I usually let students read the problem and carefully ask them what their understanding is before I give an applicable illustration of the same question. Having undergone training on effective and efficient ways of teaching mathematics and having done three courses of the norm and classroom behavior, I have learnt ways to ensure I practice social justice when teaching students. I do believe in equity and equality principle where all students are given fair share of time to respond.

I have taught Trigonometry for years. I have also tutored Trigonometry for 1 year. I was the Mathematics Peer Educator where I trained other instructors who were teaching on effective ways of teaching Math.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I have private tutoring where I tutor students who have STAAR test, TSI examinations and also at Grade Power I have tutored many students who preparing for ACT.
ACT Math Tutoring
I have tutored and trained several students at Grade Power who were preparing to do the ACT math exam.
STAAR Math Tutoring
At Mathnasium, we train students to do well in Math and after every month, students do STAAR practice test which Ig grade and teach.
