About Me
I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with my bachelor's in physics with a minor in Math. I complete coding projects in my free time (usually in Python). I have a passion for teaching people what they don't know and reinforcing what they do know.
Experience
During my time in college, I tutored over 100 of my peers in physics, math, and science/texas/fort-worth">computer science concepts. During the summer, I took a leadership role in a STEM Outreach camp with over 120 middle and high school students. I have worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Physics Department of Louisiana Tech University for a year. During that time, I conducted and led numerous experiments that involved analyzing and interpreting test results. I was a high school Physics and Chemistry teacher.
Approach
My first academic huddle started in early elementary school when I could not grasp the concept of rounding. I could not understand why such a skill would be useful. After understanding the applications of rounding, it became much easier. My approach is to get students to understand why certain topics are useful and how they can be applied.
