I love cooking and making new recipes every chance I get! I love learning about new cultures and traveling because I'm originally from Guatemala. I also love animals. I have a little Yorkie, her name is Petunia and she's my world.

About Me

I plan to get my degree in Teacher Education specializing in education/new-mexico/albuquerque">Special Education K-12. I graduated High School at La Salle, La Antigua, Guatemala back in 2016 in Guatemala with an associate in Science and Letters. Ever since I've been working in education and it's truly a passion of mine to teach and contribute to my community helping children learn with kindness and patience.

Experience

I have been working in Education since 2016.
Especially with elementary schools and tutoring. However, I have taught middle school and also tutored high school. It's been almost seven years that I have been doing this and feels comfortable with the amount of experience I have earned.

Approach

My family is full of educators. My biggest influences have been my mother and my grandpa. As a child, I struggled a lot with moving around and having a hard time focusing, and they were always patient with me and showed me tools to help me concentrate more and get my work done. They also always let me be creative and express my thoughts. Now that I work as an educator, I follow in their footsteps, help my students express themselves, and learn with lots of patience.
