I've always been interested in music since I was a child! I have played clarinet in the orchestral band from middle school to high school and currently play guitar as a pass time. I love playing as an accompaniment to my friends and performing for others!

About Me

I am currently a scientific researcher pursuing my Master's in Biotechnology. I hope to work in the pharmaceutical industry in the future to develop curative therapies for those in need and to advance the progress of scientific medicine.

Experience

During my undergraduate, I worked as a volunteer tutor in the Youth Empowerment Club. Here, I tutored elementary students in reading and writing, math, and STEM activities, and helped with homework. In high school, I worked as a volunteer guitar tutor for a nonprofit club called Blue Moon Music.

Approach

My approach to teaching consists of focused and patient listening to the student's problems with understanding concepts or specific problems and determining the best way to help the student. Every student learns and conceptualizes differently such as visually, by example, by thorough or step-by-step explanation, etc. Therefore, it is important to listen to the student's needs to teach them effectively.
