I've lived in Europe for over a year! I've studied in London, am currently in Madrid, and am hoping to be in Prague next spring.

About Me

I am a rising junior at New York University majoring in Business and Political Economy with a minor in Teacher Education. Upon graduation, I hope to land a job in teaching, while also pursuing other areas of interest, such as cosmetology and auto-body repair.

Experience

Having worked for America Reads & Counts, I had the opportunity to tutor elementary children in Math, Reading & Writing during my freshman year of college.

Approach

As a Latina from an impoverished community, I have had the system set against my success and have had to work harder to receive the same benefits as others. During high school was when I began to realize the importance of teachers because of the impact they have on the course of a student's life. Now, I'm motivated to reduce the education gap that's present in minority groups.
