About Me

I graduated from San Diego State University in 2015. I hold a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in 3 subjects. I love to learn and I love to Teach. I have 4 years of experience as a Tutor and have worked with all ages including disabled children

Experience

I have experience working with a wide range of students ranging from preschool to 6th grade. I have also worked with a wide variety of disabled children, specifically autism. I have worked 1 to 1 with students but also have experience working in groups and facilitating groups. My love is to help children and adults learn how to read. Reading opens up the world for children and can boost their academic careers and love for learning.

Approach

My approach is based on the Master Tutor system and it involves developing your students to be self-sufficient. That is, teaching your student how to learn on their own so that if they do not have a tutor they know what to do. I focus on independence and developing the independent learner so that they can become a lifelong learner not just when they are with you being tutored.
