I specialize in 3-D traditional art from small sculptures to full-room installations. I love art, and I like to incorporate my love of history and language into my pieces.

About Me

I am a current Design Studies major at San Jose State University minoring in Psychology, with an AA in Studio Arts and AS in Psychology with a specialization in child development.

Experience

I started working with younger kids when I was just 10 years old, and since then have continued tutoring and teaching both privately and for school companies. I currently work as an afterschool Science and English teacher for kindergarten through eighth grade. I have worked with kids as young as 6 months to as old as 16 years old.

Approach

As a child with autism and OCD, I struggled in most aspects of school, and teachers never made it any easier. As I grew up and started tutoring myself, my first point with every person I met was always to find common ground between us, so I could have a better sense of how they wanted and needed my help. I always want to make sure that the way I teach is the easiest for the student.
