About Me

I have an undergrad biology degree and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Medicine. I love helping people and I hope to own my own medical practice one day. I am in my second year of medical school and I love tutoring people. I have experiences tutoring from ages 4yrs- 21yrs in Reading, Writing, Math & Sciences.

For my tutoring approach:
I begin by assessing the student's current knowledge, skills, and learning style. This can be done through discussions, diagnostic tests, or reviewing past work.
Then I establish goals with the students and parents, long and short term goals.
Based on the assessment and goals, I create a personalized learning plan. Break down complex topics into chunks and prioritize areas where the student needs the most support.
I am very big on active learning, thus it's the best way to learn quick and efficiently. Encouraging the student to actively participate in discussions, ask questions, and solve problems. Use real-life examples to make concepts more relatableIncorporate visual aids, diagrams, and multimedia resources to enhance understanding. Utilize a variety of learning materials, such as textbooks, online resources, and educational apps, to cater to different learning preferences.
I love to keep parents or guardians informed about the student's progress, challenges, and areas for improvement. Establish open lines of communication to ensure a collaborative effort in supporting the student's learning.

Experience

I tutored biology students during my undergrad years, in biology and psychology classes. I also tutored Elementary-Middle school students at a church with homework help.

Approach

As a child, migrating to the United States I struggled academically because French was my first language. I had wonderful caring teachers to help me through my journey and helped me become who I am today. I love helping people, and with dedication, patience, and positive encouragement everyone can achieve great things!
