Fun Facts
I love playing the piano and volunteer at my local church to play for their worship team on the weekends. I also love reading, climbing, playing basketball, and doing math for FUN.
About Me
I am a current graduate student at the Colorado School of Mines studying Computational and Applied math. See fun facts for more information about me.
Experience
I started working in special education and have worked with students of every age. This includes students with learning and physical disabilities, as well as in subjects including reading, writing, and world history, but my favorite subject to teach is math, hence why I continued pursuing it in graduate school.
Approach
I like approaching learning from first principles, i.e., what tools does the student have at their disposal to work a problem out on their own, and how can I scaffold the problem in such a way that I can give them the best and most useful tools for solving the current and future problems.
