Fun Facts

I am 6 foot 9, and I love to play volleyball. I also really enjoy getting outside and hiking. My favorite band is the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and I love to play percussion.

About Me

I am now a sophomore at the boulder">University of Colorado, Boulder, in the College of Engineering and Applied Science. I plan to continue studying mechanical engineering in the Fall. When I eventually graduate, I hope to work on renewable energy sources.

Experience

As a member of the national honor society in High school, I was able to tutor almost weekly and collaborate with students so that they understood the content they needed help with. In college, studying is a very collaborative effort, so I learned how to describe the content because being able to teach the content is the best way to know if you completely understand the content yourself.

Approach

When I was younger, I found it challenging to motivate myself to complete my exhaustive assignments, and what got me through was my parents who always showed up with energy and persistence, all directed towards helping me complete and understand my homework. As a tutor, I plan to work with the student and try and instill a drive to get tasks done, while prioritizing comprehension of the material.
