Fun Facts
I have loved football since I was a child and would watch it with my dad. When I took statistics in high school, I learned about the connection between statistics and sports, and it encouraged me to spend time in college exploring this interest further.
About Me
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and have taken courses in biology, chemistry, calculus, and economics as well as skills and methods-based labs. These courses have given me a deep understanding of the material. I have plans to apply to medical school in the coming years to continue my education.
Experience
I have tutored in mathematics throughout high school, and have helped students prepare for AP tests. As the oldest of four siblings, I have helped my sisters with their schoolwork and given them the ability to confidently solve problems when I am not available.
Approach
I find it incredibly important in mathematics and science to understand how the basics work in a comprehensive sense. This makes upper-level courses manageable and interesting. Information is retained throughout summer breaks and allows students to feel confident in their abilities.
