A fun fact about me is that I love bacteria! As a microbiology major, I often do cool experiments with bacteria such as E. coli.
About Me
I am a fourth-year student at Arizona State University majoring in medical microbiology. I am currently on the pre-medical track and plan on attending medical school in the near future.
Experience
As an assistant TA for the microbiology courses at ASU, I have experience teaching microbiology lab techniques such as Gram-staining, serial dilutions, quadrant streaking, etc. I also have experience tutoring classmates in organic chemistry, microbiology, and cancer biology.
Approach
As a student, I often struggled to reach out for help for fear of judgment. Because of this, I would like to create a safe and understanding environment where students feel comfortable enough to ask me any questions. If a student reaches out to me for assistance, I will ensure that I address their questions, but most importantly, make them feel understood.
