One fun fact about me is that I love to play soccer. I played soccer overseas and had the opportunity to go into the biggest academy in Qatar, but I chose to attend College instead!
About Me
I am currently a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida. Hopefully, I would want to pursue a career in rehabilitative medicine and use my technical math skills to create prosthetics for people in need of artificial limbs. I believe that my style of teaching helps students better grasp a topic in both a fun and creative way.
Experience
As a current tutor in the academic success centre at the University of South Florida, I have always been keen on helping students with subjects they struggle with. I started tutoring early in high school, where I was tasked with teaching and mentoring 10th and 11th graders in Biology, Pre-Calculus, and English Composition. Moreover, I still tutor students in Calculus and English Composition in college.
Approach
When I was a kid, school was adamant for me. I used to get bullied by my peers, and my teachers suggested programs to facilitate my learning better as they labelled me a very slow learner'. I was forced to repeat the 8th grade because I was behind and not doing well in my classes. It was a very traumatizing time for me as a student, and I always wished teachers had a better way of facilitating my learning in the classroom so I would feel like I was left behind.
