One passion of mine is that I love collecting little blind boxes and cute figures because they are a fun way to treat oneself and find comfort while navigating adulthood.

About Me

I graduated from California State University manga cum laude with a BFA in Illustration and Animation. I currently am working as a freelance illustrator, specializing in children's book illustration.

Experience

During my senior year of high school, a few classmates and I created an afterschool program at Lowell Elementary, where we would come in and teach a class of students different art activities, ranging from ceramics to painting. While in university, I worked one-on-one with students ages 5-8 at a private tutoring centre, focusing on English and Writing.

Approach

When I reminisce on the teachers that had a strong impact on me growing up, I remembered that no matter no much I struggled, they were always encouraging and never let me believe I could not do something. Because of these experiences, I think it is crucial to remain patient and encouraging, to allow students to be able to overcome problems and find their solutions with guidance.
