Fun Facts
I have lived and worked in many countries, speak a few languages and have worked with people from all over the world. It has given me a better understanding of working with people from all walks of life.
About Me
Learning skills are important, no matter what happens in life you always have your skills to fall back on. My life has not been a straight road but looking back I have learnt so much and I truly believe it's because of the skills I had that I could make the most of what life offered.
As an instructor or adjunct professor, I believe everyone is smart at something. People just need help support and guidance, either from their teachers or their employers, because everyone wants to do their best.
Experience
My work has involved designing and building curricula and implementing workshops for youth and men and women of all ages. I have helped develop a literacy-based skills-enhancing curriculum which has been distributed to over 100,000 middle school students in Senegal and Ghana. I have implemented training workshops for teachers, principals and Ministry officials so they can do better in-service training for their students. I have mentored and supervised over 75 interns (high school and college).
Approach
Since a young age, I started reading and my love of reading has only increased over time. My work requires me to read and understand many subjects. I believe with patience and support anyone can learn. Reading is one of the most basic literacy skills and a lifelong skill which has an impact on your self-esteem, self-confidence, your relationships both personal and professional. It impacts your economic freedom and quality of life. If you know how to read - you can learn anything, go anywhere.
