About Me

I have acquired many experiences, but educating others has been the most rewarding.

Experience

My teaching experience began with the Detroit Public School System in 2001. Most of my work was done in kindergarten through 4th-grade self-contained classrooms. I also taught and tutored math and English during after-school and summer programs. I taught for DPS for 12 years. Volunteering to teach ESL students was also a rewarding experience. After retiring, I began working as a tutor. I Have worked with Beyond Basics for 2 years as a tutor. I enjoy teaching students and seeing that lightbulb
