Fun Facts
I love to express my creative side in any way I can! Therefore, I have a lot of artistic and musical hobbies. My cute little dog remains endlessly entertained by the songs I play and the projects I start. His name is Lucky, but I should have named him Toto since he looks exactly like the dog from the Wizard of Oz!
About Me
I am a first-year doctoral student at Loma Linda University. I graduated from Stanford University in 2022 and decided to continue pursuing my passion for psychological studies out here in the inland Empire.
Experience
I started tutoring my classmates and younger peers in high school through the National Honor Society. We went over various subjects, such as math, history, and English. In 2020, I started with Ravenswood Reads, a group connected to the Ravenswood school district in the Bay Area where most students were learning English as their second language and thus read at a much lower reading level than their age would predict. Since then I've taught a few students violin as well.
Approach
Many people have experienced the academic success that I have. But in order to effectively share that knowledge with others, one has to be a huge listener and a quick adapter. My passions reach far and wide, so I have loved making learning interesting and effective in a variety of subjects! But most importantly of all, I’m a great listener so I am prepared and primed to make sessions work for each person's particular needs. Whether its a small assignment or a big exam, I'm here as a resource!
