I can play up to three different instruments, was high school dance team captain, and took arts up to AP in high school; everyone I meet is surprised I'm a STEM-based major.

About Me

I am an incoming second year at the University of California, San Diego, currently working towards a bachelor's in Business Economics and a minor degree in Psychology. I grew up in the Bay Area, and hope to graduate early to continue building my life there!

Experience

I've taken art lessons since elementary school and passed AP 2D Studio Art with a 5 in high school. Much of my experience lies in composition, and concept, extending to character design. Additional experience includes being an officer in my high school's Character Design Club and a graphic design course in college.

Approach

I think art is a way of releasing and experimenting with emotion, which is something typically blocked off in a society focused on STEM. It is especially important in the arts to build an open sharing and debating environment with a foundation of trust; I'd like to be a reliable friend figure to anyone I tutor.
