My favourite subject in school was English. I was great at spelling and won many competitions. I also enjoyed reading and writing. I once wrote a poem for a Martin Luther King birthday contest and was one of the ones who was selected to read my poem at a celebration.

I am reliable, dedicated and patient. I am open-minded and very diverse in my thinking as well as my actions. I enjoy working through things in a calm, caring and encouraging way with my students and strive to be fun and efficient when teaching.
Experience
An educator with over 18 years of experience in devising individualized curricula within state standards and internationally. Has expert knowledge of Teaching English Language Arts and English to Students of Other Languages, (TESOL) through various teaching methodologies, including; Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening through project- and content-based instruction.
Approach
Holistic and Experiential learning has been my teaching method because it encourages creativity, helps students learn from mistakes, stimulates reflective thinking, and prepares students for real-life experiences. It has been effective in several subjects, especially during individual and group projects.
