Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I play the viola! I have been playing for over ten years and have continued this hobby of mine into college where I play for my campus' orchestra! Viola is a fun way for me to relax and take my eyes off my laptop screen for a little while.

About Me

I am a senior double major in French and Francophone Studies and International Political Economy at Fordham University. I studied abroad for a semester in Reims, France at the French university, SciencesPo. After I graduate, I hope to teach English in France for a year and then pursue a master's degree in International Development.

Experience

I tutored French and Math through honor societies in my high school and absolutely loved it. This mentorship experience led me to my current position as a Resident Assistant at Fordham University, which I have done for the past two years. I have experience working in mentorship/ teaching capacities through past and current positions.

Approach

Learning a language can be frustrating, but it is very rewarding. As a language learner myself, I understand and emphasize patience and persistence in my tutoring. As a French tutor, my goal is for students to be comfortable and confident in all areas of the language; speaking, writing, and listening. I have many tips and tricks I have used personally to become a more confident French student and to know how to approach something as intimidating as a new language!
