I was an AVID tutor for 4 years and an AVID student for 4 years before that. I use the AVID tools that I learned in my everyday life and work.

Approach

I use AVID’s approach when helping my students. Through guided learning and guided/targeted note taking and studying. I use methods to self-teach through misunderstandings and difficulties in subject areas.
