About Me

I am a recent college graduate and love Spanish and teaching others. Spanish is truly a great language to learn and once you get over the first learning curve it becomes quick to pick up fully.

Experience

I have enough coursework to pursue a Spanish major but before that, I taught myself fluent Spanish while serving a mission in Argentina. I lived and travelled throughout Argentina for two years, learning Spanish in person from strangers who knew no English.

Approach

I think the best way to approach learning a new language is to immerse yourself in the language, I learned fluent Spanish within 3 months of moving to Argentina without any previous knowledge. There are many tips and tricks, but truthfully the best way to learn is to try to speak, learn words, and read the language as much as possible. Little by little your knowledge will become 2nd nature and soon enough you will understand Spanish as well as your native language.
