I competed at the Texas state powerlifting meet as a first-time senior, for it was my first time. I have been lifting consecutive for the past year.

About Me

I am an entering Freshman at the University of Texas at Austin double majoring in Plan ii honors and health and society. UT Austin awarded me an impact scholarship for all my community contributions. After undergrad, I plan to attend medical school at Baylor and pursue a medical career.

Experience

As captain of the Extemporaneous Speaking section at my school, I was given many opportunities to assist my classmates in creat oral speeches lasting 7 minutes over random topics with only 30 minutes of preparation.

Approach

While in elementary school I was placed in ESL classes due to not being proficient in English. These classes taught me the importance of overcoming adversity and always finding a way to come on top whenever faced with academic challenges.
